A closer examination of the results shows that the moment distributions in columns are displayed in different directions or change the signs.

Answer

It is always necessary to pay attention to the member orientation and member rotation when defining the columns consisting of several single members. Some members have the x-axis directed upwards or rotated (see Figure 01). Due to different orientations, the sign changes for My or Mz.

You can easily check these settings by activating the display of member axis systems (see the figure).
