I am currently working abroad and sometimes I have to login to the program using mobile data, which costs a lot. What is the data consumption of the RFEM operation?

Answer

Data communication cannot be completely avoided. RFEM 6 can only be used with an online license. So you need to log in. After logging in, a local license will be downloaded to your computer for a period of 24 hours, unless you specify other setting.

The program communicates with the server only when starting the application, displaying the License Manager, or in case the local license is about to expire. This is then extended during the communication with the server. 100 KB should be sufficient for one communication with the server.

More data can be required when sending diagnostic data, but you can turn it off in Program Options. Additional data can be sent after a program crash, but it is up to the user whether to send the data.
