Creating Work Plane by Three Points

Tips & Tricks

In RFEM 5 and RSTAB 8, you can now create a work plane by simply selecting three points. Thus, you don't have to create a user‑defined coordinate system anymore, as in RFEM 4 or RSTAB 7.

Click “Select Work Plane” on the “Tools” menu, and then select “3 Points Plane”. Alternatively, you can click the according button in the “Tools” menu to start this function. Then you define the work plane by simply selecting the three points and can use it immediately. Until you deactivate this function, you work within this created coordinate system.
