I have been using RFEM 6 for my steel design projects in Italy and abroad for a few years now, and it has become indispensable! Geometric modeling, always fast and precise, is easy and convenient due to the internal (CAD) tools.
Any type of structure, from the simplest (beam elements) to the most complex geometries with shell elements, can be modeled with ease; BIM is excellent with other software. Editing is also easy, and if you make changes or revisions to the design, it takes a moment to implement them. The software includes several design standards, is flexible in use, clear, complete with all types of structural analysis, both static and dynamic, precise and reliable.
In my opinion, it excels in nonlinearities when both entering the data and performing the nonlinear calculation; the mesh quality is excellent. The post-processing is very complex and the results are always clear, reliable, and easy to check and interpret. It always gives me freedom in my design preferences and assists me with all of them. When I compare myself with colleagues who use other software, frankly, it is impossible to do better. It simply does things that other software does not do, and does them in an easy way.
The support provided by the Italian team has always been up to the highest standards and has only improved over the years. Thanks and congratulations!

RFEM is impressive software that combines power and clarity. It can calculate all types of structures, still providing an extremely intuitive interface. We appreciate the program utilization in our work as structural timber engineers.
We use it mainly to perform structural analysis and design of frame and truss structures made of timber and steel, as well as CLT panels, and composite timber-concrete floor slabs.

After analyzing the options on the market, we have chosen RFEM by Dlubal for the calculation of our timber/steel structures, because it is the software that allows the most efficient 3D modeling for these types of complex models.
We appreciated the help of Dlubal's customer service, which was able to guide us in order to model all the technical optimizations. We witnessed the responsiveness and technicality of the Dlubal customer service, which we were able to discuss very specific points with.
We have experimented with the fact that the software does all the Eurocode design checks and yet remains very flexible to the requirements of the project.
We highly recommend the RFEM 6 software!
RSTAB is a very powerful calculation software, as it allows the designer to model any type of structure in a very academic and scrupulous way, with the simplicity and practicality that is needed in the profession. It's easy to obtain an analysis model very close to reality without many input difficulties.

The webinar "Design Cold-Formed Steel Sections According to EC3" was great. It was my first webinar and I would like to follow more in the future. Especially for new users/students like me and if too fast, it is very good that it is recorded and you can watch it again. I also like the fact that I was able to follow the webinar free of charge because students would rather not attend a paid webinar.
For almost a year I have been trying to develop a type of intervention for the seismic improvement of simple reinforced concrete buildings built in the 60s/70s, with the addition of bracing and dissipative elements.
I tried to design these elements with the RFEM trial version and was thrilled by the simplicity and the calculation's completeness. According to what I have found, it is possible to use RFEM to create very complex structures while maintaining excellent reliability due to a very strict and transparent inner structure.
