Training Objective

Students and new users should gain basic knowledge about the possible utilization of RFEM by Dlubal Software. The aim is to teach the participants to enter and edit simple models as well as to understand the design principles. The participants also learn how to document structural calculations using Dlubal structural analysis software.

Requirements

Prior theoretical knowledge of structural engineering (graduate student, participation in structural engineering lectures) and an installed and working student version of RFEM (either personal laptop or installed in the university's computer lab) are necessary. You don't need any program knowledge of RFEM by Dlubal; that's why we're here for you.

Program

  • Introduction to the program
  • Introduction to the basic workflow using RFEM
  • Analysis of simple models with the design of steel and reinforced concrete structures
  • Documentation of the calculations
  • Frequently used features of the program
  • Notes

  • The minimum enrollment for the training is 10 participants. The maximum number of participants is determined upon agreement with the responsible person. Further arrangements are possible upon consultation.
  • To participate in the course, it is necessary to have a suitable computer with the current student version of RFEM installed and running. All the participants work on their own computers. Furthermore, each student will receive detailed training materials in PDF.
  • A list of participating students must be submitted before the training date.
  • The university provides a suitable room and a projector with HD resolution.
  • After completing the training, each participant will receive a certificate.
