Numerous Standards Integrated!
In RFEM and RSTAB, numerous international standards have been implemented. The relevant add-on modules allow for design of structures consisting of steel, reinforced concrete, and timber.
The following overview provides lists of standards available for various countries.
The FEA program RFEM and the frame structure program RSTAB allow for continuous planning of structures according to Eurocode.
The entire design process can be performed consistently according to the relevant European codes, from the automatic generation of load and result combinations to structural calculations, from the generation of wind and snow loads to dynamic analysis.
In Germany, structures are designed according to the Eurocodes and the relevant National Annexes (DIN EN).
Verification of designed and built structures may require the use of the no longer valid DIN standards. Therefore, Dlubal Software provides solutions also for these standards.
Steel structures can be designed in RFEM and RSTAB according to the British standard BS 5950‑1:2000 or according to BS EN 1993‑1‑1 (Eurocode 3: British National Annex). In addition, it is possible to create the load and result combinations automatically according to Eurocode 0 or BS 5950‑1:2000.
In RFEM and RSTAB, you can design steel, concrete, and timber structures according to the relevant American standards. You can analyze combined structures consisting of various materials as well.
In addition to structural analysis, it is also possible to perform seismic design according to IBC.
The Canadian standards for designing steel and timber structures are available in the structural analysis programs RFEM and RSTAB.
In addition, it is possible to combine loads automatically according to the standards CAN/CSA S 16.1-94 or NBCC as well as to perform seismic designs according to NBC 2005.
RFEM and RSTAB support the design of steel structures according to the Australian standard AS 4100-1998. In addition, you can perform seismic designs according to AS 1170.4‑2007.
Swiss standards for design of steel, concrete, and timber structures are available in the structural analysis programs by Dlubal Software. Seismic design can be performed according to SIA 261/1:2003 and SIA 261/1:2014.
Moreover, it is possible to combine the loads automatically according to the standards SIA 260:2003 or SIA 260 + SIA 265:2003.
In RFEM and RSTAB, the Chinese standards for steel and concrete structures are available. In addition, it is possible to create load combinations automatically according to the standard GB 50009-2012 as well as to perform seismic designs according to GB 50011-2010.
For steel structures, the Hong Kong standard Code of Practice for the Structural Use of Steel 2011 (Buildings Department - Hong Kong) is available.
In RFEM and RSTAB, it is possible to combine loads automatically according to the Indian standard IS 800. In addition, you can perform designs of steel structures according to the standard IS 800 as well as seismic designs according to IS 1893.
The Mexican standard NTC-RCDF (2004) for design of steel structures is implemented in the structural analysis programs by Dlubal Software. In addition, you can perform seismic designs according to the Mexican standard CFE Sismo 08.
In RFEM and RSTAB, there is the Russian standard SP 16.13330.2011 available for design of steel structures. The programs RFEM/RSTAB and RF-/STEEL SP are certified in Russia.
Structural analysis programs RFEM and RSTAB support the design of steel and timber structures according to the South African standards SANS 10162‑1:2011 (steel), SANS 10163‑1:2003 and SANS 10163‑2:2001 (timber).
In the structural analysis programs RFEM and RSTAB, you can analyze steel structures according to the Brazilian standard ABNT NBR 8800:2008.
Furthermore, it is also possible to analyze timber structures according to the Brazilian timber standard NBR 7190:1997.
