Since the end of 2013, a unique bus station roof in Aarau, Switzerland, has been impressing people with its innovative membrane roof structure in the shape of a cloud. The structure integrates the world's largest single-chamber foil cushion with a volume of 1810 m³ and a covered area of 1070 m². The facility was designed using modern RSTAB methods, taking into account steel, foil, and cable technology, as well as construction management and quality control. Technical planning and execution were carried out by formTL Ingenieure für Tragwerk und Leichtbau GmbH (© formTL). The digital representation highlights the precise use of materials and the sophisticated design of the structure.
