The link between businessman Wolfgang Schweidtweiler from Pforzheim (Germany) and panorama artist Yadegar Asisi made it possible for a 100-year-old gasometer threatened by demolition to be used in such a spectacular way.

The former gas storage facility has been transformed into an extraordinary event area using a completely new interior design. A steel construction of around 214 ft with a diameter of 131 ft has been built on top of an approximately 20-foot-high massive ground floor. Since the end of 2014, the 360° panoramas of Berlin artist Asisi have been exhibited inside the building.
