This model shows the unique open-air theater in Bytom, which opened in August 2014. The building consists of the theater stage and a backstage area, which are connected by a spatially curved timber roof. The vaulted roof is a striking design element that presents particular challenges for timber structures. The contribution by Zbyněk Šrůtek (© Ing. Šrůtek) highlights the innovative solution. The model provides a precise illustration of the complexity of modern timber structures.
