The approximately 42 m tall wooden observation tower Saarschleife offers a unique view over Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park and the Saarschleife Valley. The semicircular construction, reflecting the shape of the Saarschleife, minimizes the impact on the quartzite habitat. As the highlight of the 1,250 m long treetop walk, the tower allows walks up to 23 m above the forest floor. The precise RSTAB calculation is illustrated by a detailed 3D model, including a deformation figure.
