The impressive timber roof of the building extends over 60,000 m² with wave-shaped architecture, which was realized by Graf-Holztechnik. The primary structure rests on steel and reinforced concrete columns up to 20 m high and consists of massive glulam trusses. On top of these, there are approximately 8,000 m³ of cross-laminated timber panels, which are made of three to five layers and achieve spans of up to 10 m. Each panel was specifically calculated to maintain a slim and efficient dimension. The project was designed by ATP Architects and Engineers, Vienna, and the design checks were carried out in RSTAB.
