Based on new technical requirements, Melamin d.d. Kočevje has replaced the old fossil steam boiler with a new 9.8 MW boiler. The structural system includes a biomass storage, a transport and delivery system for woodchips, and an ash collector. The construction of the boiler house was technically demanding and took place while the old boiler was in operation. The old boiler is currently used for steam generation and will be used in the future as a backup. ag-i.si presents the model and the deformed shape in RFEM (© AG-inženiring).
