At the end of April 2023, a new aviary was completed at the Sichuan Pavilion in the Prague Zoo. The aviary structure has a length of 14 m and a width of 10 m. The company Carl Stahl & spol. created the architectural and structural design, calculated in RFEM 5.
In 2021, a timber pavilion called "Into the Woods" was built in the garden of the Swiss Embassy in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was created on the occasion of the annual festival "3 Days of Design".
The "Azerbaijan Pavilion" was an eye-catcher at Expo 2021 in Dubai. Simmetrico network and iDeas were responsible for the architecturally valuable design. Among other things, Dlubal customer Rubner Ingenieurholzbau created the structural analysis and design, and constructed the complex glued-laminated timber structure at its own site.
In 2019, an extraordinary pavilion was constructed in Diemersteiner Tal near Kaiserslautern, Germany. The structure is constructed entirely from timber and did not require any metal fasteners.
The bird-watching tower in the Reuss River delta is an exceptional lookout construction in the Urner Alps. Its striking primary framework consists of 48 log timber columns standing in an inclined position. From four viewing platforms, people seeking relaxation enjoy the wonderful view over the river delta, and ornithologists can watch nesting birds.
