Trattenbach Power Plant, Austria – Type of Water Intake and Pressure Pipeline

The power plant consists of the water catchment from the Tortalbach river, a feeder line to the Trattenbach reservoir, the weir structure, and the Trattenbach reservoir. A fish pass is required to bypass the weir structure. The water is supplied to the "Wald" powerhouse by a pressure pipe line.
