Wooden House with Ground Floor Customizable for People with Limited Mobility

The thesis deals with the design of a timber family house with dimensions of 16.5 × 10.5 × 7 m. The structure is a combination of a two-story building with a gable roof and one-story parts with a flat roof that is used as a terrace. The ground floor plan was designed for people with reduced mobility.

In this thesis, a structural analysis of the timber structure was carried out. In particular, the creep of timber components was taken into account in the calculations. There are two variants of the roof structure - a rafter roof and a beam roof.

The timber design of the structure was carried out with SEMA and then exported to RSTAB 8, where the model was loaded and designed using the TIMBER Pro add-on module.
