Structural and Dynamic Analysis of High-Rise Building

The diploma thesis solves the project of an administrative object of Western Square, located on a specific plot in Karlova Ves, Bratislava, Slovakia.

The 21-story administrative building consists of 18 overground and 3 underground floors. On the first overground floor, entrance spaces can be found, and on each other overground floor, there is a variably modifiable space that each renter can customize to his needs. The elaborated project documentation reflects the static solution of the object. The construction drawing part of the project includes the construction drawing of the typical floor shaping, the scheme of its reinforcement, the reinforcement technique for the most exposed wall and pillar, and the drawings of the construction solution of the object.

The main point of the thesis was to assess the object with regard to its static and dynamic exposure by using the structural analysis program RFEM by Dlubal Software.
