Analysis of Building Structure with Masonry and Reinforced Concrete Stiffeners

The subject of this graduation thesis is the analysis of a core location and an influence of masonry elements on the stiffness of a structure. The building is based on a reinforced concrete frame structure, which consists of 20 above-the-ground storys and three underground storys.

The scope of the thesis consists of the introduction, the analysis, and the structural design. The analysis is divided into two parts and four variants of the building are included. The structural analysis software RFEM was used for the numerical analysis. The project part contains the calculation of the selected components: a flat slab, a column, and a masonry wall. The project is complemented by the corresponding drawings.
