The personal research, made up also of meetings, interchanges, and dialogues, takes the form of an experimentation path that has the Spluga Valley as its object of study: an internal Italian area and a mountain territory along the border between Lombardy and Switzerland. The first response is the design of a Vision, which is implemented within an area of action defined by the structured territorial strategy. The final aim is the development of a synergic educational network, which will bring together the entire heritage of the valley and allow a deep understanding of it.

The research goes as far as the application of strategic principles to one case of intervention: the Officine Spluga. This is the pilot project of the strategy, designed in a holistic vision based on the values of environmental sustainability, quality of life, useful innovation, and circular economy.
