The current technological age has changed the processes and production techniques in many areas. Consumption and also production have changed, so customers can directly participate in the decision-making process, thus creating coordinated products. Architecture and the building industry are the areas that are gaining strength in this regard; therefore, prefabricated structures are used in the construction projects as they can be easily assembled.

This project includes a proposal for a timber structure that converts panels into an assembly kit of parts using the CNC technology, which makes it possible to assemble the structure by using common tools and techniques. The proposal aims at providing a realistic alternative for the demand for social housing in Ecuador.

The structural analysis objective was to perform a calculation according to the linear static analysis utilizing the RF-TIMBER Pro and RF-STABILITY add-on modules for RFEM. The RF-LAMINATE add-on module was used to calculate the number of board layers and the resistance of each individual component.
