Concrete Slab Roof of Underground Parking Garage

The bachelor thesis deals with the roofing of an underground parking garage with reinforced concrete slab with point supports. The objective of the thesis is to find out the internal forces on reinforced concrete slab in two construction variants, as well as the analysis and design of one of the construction variant. The replacement frame method and Finite Element Method were used for calculation of internal forces using a 2D model in the Dlubal RFEM 5.17. The work also includes the design and check of one column.

The structure of the roof was designed in two variants.

The first variant is a plate with the constant thickness, and the second one is a plate with reinforcing slabs in the area of columns. The second variant was subjected to the ultimate limit state design and the serviceability limit state design. The values from the plate model from RFEM 5.17 were used for the design.

The aim was to compare the internal force values obtained from both calculation models and the comparison of both construction variants. Furthermore, the design and analysis of an inner column was performed. The results include the relevant drawing documentation.
