With the Update Reference Strategy (URS) method, we achieve equilibrium shapes that correspond perfectly to the specified boundary conditions, including deflection, forces, and prestressing.
The integral URS approach sets this method apart; it includes regular forces such as self-weight and pneumatic pressure. This allows us to calculate anticlastic and synclastic shapes for planar or rotationally symmetric geometries. And that's not all – we have two selection methods available: the tension method for planar geometries and the projection method for conical geometries with horizontal anchoring.
