Is it possible to design also smaller structural components such as GFRP angles in RF-LAMINATE?
RF-LAMINATE also allows for design of GFRP surfaces. Due to the method in background, you can even model the GFRP surfaces very well as the individual layer thicknesses of GFRP are very small (laminate theory). You can use the module also for small surfaces as long as the mesh is sufficiently fine. For the calculation, RF-LAMINATE creates a special stiffness matrix based on material properties and individual layer thicknesses.

Your support is by far the best
“Thank you very much for the useful information.
I would like to pay a compliment to your support team. I am always impressed how quickly and professionally the questions are answered. In the industry of structural analysis, I use several software including service contract, but your support is by far the best.”
