Installation of New Versions of RFEM 5 and RSTAB 8 Using msiexec

If I install new versions of RFEM and RSTAB via msiexec, will the old versions be overwritten?

Answer:

No, the old versions will not be uninstalled. Therefore, it is possible to use several versions of RFEM 5 and RSTAB 8 on the computer at the same time, which is also useful in many cases.

If you want to uninstall an old version of RFEM 5 or RSTAB 8, use the following command:

msiexec -x <old MSI package>

For a complete list of all msiexec options, use the following command:

msiexec -h
