How can I deactivate or modify individual nodal supports in the model by load case?

Answer

In RSTAB 8 and RFEM 5 individual objects, such as nodal supports, can be assigned different stiffnesses by load case. It is possible to find this function in the calculation parameters of load cases and load combinations (see Figure 1).

In RFEM 5, individual objects can also be deactivated by the load case (see Figure 2).

The tab allows you to ignore certain objects of the model in the calculation. The influence of temporary members (construction supports) or supports can be analyzed this way.
