Why there are new members generated in my model when crossing a member with another one?

Answer

Once the "Auto Connect Members" feature is activated, the member touching the start or end node of another member is divided. If this feature is not activated, this means for the RSTAB model that the members are not connected to each other.

The members that intersect each other, for example, the wind bracing of a hall, are not divided.

To activate this feature, use the shortcut menu in the RFEM or RSTAB model.
