Why is not possible to define the center node of an arc as a help node?

Answer

The center node of a line always refers to the property of the line and not of the member. Therefore, it is not possible to use the center node of the line as a help node.

Use the command 'Create New Node as Help Node' (see figure) to create the node directly in the dialog box. The effort is thus identical to the direct 'Picking' of the node.
