When should the punching load be determined with a (not-)smoothed distribution of the shear forces at the critical perimeter?

For this, no general recommendation for action can be given.

For wall corners and wall ends, the default setting 'Not-smoothed Shear Force Over the Critical Perimeter' can initially be maintained.

After the calculation, you can graphically check the distribution of the shear force in the control perimeter.

Optionally, you can switch to 'smoothed' (e.g. when singularities occur).

Please note, however, that any singularities that may occur are also included in the beta calculation. It may also be necessary that the load increasing factor ß will be specified directly by the user.
