A member representative is used as a template for members and represents identical properties, such as material, length, cross-section, and member type. Members with the same properties are combined into one member representative.
The aim of a member representative is to only represent a member with the governing internal forces of the same member type in order to provide you with a good overview in the program and the documentation.
You can activate the members or member set representatives in the general data of the model; see the image. In the "Member Representatives Wizard" tab, you can activate further properties and criteria for defining the representatives.
