The structural analysis software RFEM 6 is the basis of a modular software system. The main program RFEM 6 is used to define structures, materials, and loads of planar and spatial structural systems consisting of plates, walls, shells, and members. The program also allows you to create combined structures as well as to model solid and contact elements.
RSTAB 9 is a powerful analysis and design software for 3D beam, frame, or truss structure calculations, reflecting the current state of the art and helping structural engineers meet requirements in modern civil engineering.
Do you often spend too long calculating cross-sections? Dlubal Software and the RSECTION stand-alone program facilitate your work by determining section properties of various cross-sections and performing a subsequent stress analysis.
Do you always know where the wind is blowing from? From the direction of innovation, of course! With RWIND 2, you have a program at your side that uses a digital wind tunnel for the numerical simulation of wind flows. The program simulates these flows around any building geometry and determines the wind loads on the surfaces.
Are you looking for an overview of snow load zones, wind zones, and seismic zones? Then you are in the right place. Use the Geo-Zone Tool to determine quickly and efficiently snow loads, wind speeds, and seismic data according to ASCE 7‑16 and other international standards.
Would you like to try out the capabilities of the Dlubal Software programs? You have the opportunity to do so! The free 90-day full version allows you to thoroughly test all our programs.
By clicking the following link, you can download a program that helps you to read both the dongle and the network dongle that are connected to the computer:
http://download.dlubal.com/?file=KeyDump.zip
Unzip the file named KeyDump.zip and run the KeyDump.exe file in the destination folder. You should see the dongle under "License Information" in the diagnostic program. If this is not the case, the dongle may be defective or the driver has not been installed correctly.
Normally, the dongle drivers are set up automatically during the installation. If this remains undone, the dongle driver can also be installed manually. The latest driver for your operating system can be downloaded here:
http://download.dlubal.com/?file=Sentinel_LDK_GUI_setup.zip
If the problem persists, please send us the log file, which you can create in KeyDump (see the image).
You should also note the following points:
The file for the cross-section library is called ProfileDB.ADB. By default, it is located in the folder"C:\Program Files\Dlubal\RFEM 5.xx" or "C:\Program Files\Dlubal\RSTAB 8.xx."If the file is damaged or blocked (for example, by a virus scanner), the error shown in the image is displayed. In this case, we recommend adjusting the virus scanner's filter settings.
As an alternative, you can perform a new installation. You will be asked if you want to uninstall the program first. Confirm this query, then reinstall the program with administrator rights and, if necessary, a temporarily deactivated virus scanner.
In rare cases, the cause may be missing Windows updates. Therefore, search for the updates of the operating system and install them.
Check to see if the signal light of the dongle is on (see Image 01). If not, try another USB slot, preferably directly on the motherboard and not on a USB hub or the front of the computer.
If the light is still not on, perform a test on another PC with RFEM 5, RSTAB 8, SHAPE‑THIN, or RX‑TIMBER installed. If the result is the same, the dongle is most likely damaged and needs to be replaced.
If an error message appears even when the signal light is on, please make sure that you are using the most current authorization file author.ini.
If you cannot solve the problem, please send us a screenshot of the error message, a brief description of the problem, and the diagnostic file; you can generate this using the program menu Help (see Image 02).
