Structural Analysis & Design Software for Buildings
Structural FEM Analysis and Design
The successful structural analysis program RFEM 6 by Dlubal Software is the basis of a modular program family that you can customize and combine according to your precise requirements. In the main program RFEM, you can define structures, materials, and loads of planar and spatial structural systems consisting of plates, walls, shells, and members. Furthermore, you can create combined structures as well as model solid and contact elements.

Structural Frame & Truss Analysis Software
Use the Dlubal spatial frame & truss analysis software RSTAB 9 if you need a special solution tailored to beam, frame, and truss structures. Due to the special attention to such structures, it is even easier to use than the FEA software RFEM. This program has been the best choice for structural analysis and design of pure structural member models for many years.
Wind Simulation and Wind Load Generation
Do your structures have to withstand every gust of wind? Then it is best to use the Dlubal stand-alone program RWIND 2. It is particularly recommended for complex model shapes. There are wind flows around all structures simulated in a digital wind tunnel.
You can easily import your generated wind loads acting on these objects into RFEM or RSTAB. Thus, you can complete your project there.
Add-ons and Add-on Modules for Design of Buildings
When designing buildings, Dlubal offers you a selection of add-ons. Depending on the material used, choose the add-on for the industry of steel structures , concrete structures, or timber structures to carry out precise structural analysis and design.
Structural Dynamic Analysis
To keep your buildings safe even under stormy conditions, the Dynamic Analysis add-ons for RFEM 6 / RSTAB 9 are here for you. Use them to perform seismic design, vibration analysis of buildings, machine foundation design, natural frequency analysis for bridges and chimneys, and many other dynamic calculations.
Geotechnical Analysis Using FEM
The Geotechnical Analysis add-on for RFEM 6 supports your work by determining the soil body to be analyzed by using the properties from soil samples. Achieve a high quality of your structural analysis of buildings due to a realistic determination of the soil conditions (soil-structure interaction).
Generation, Analysis, and Evaluation of Building Models
The Building Model add-on for RFEM 6 allows you to define and manipulate your building by means of stories. A great advantage is the possibility to adjust them retroactively and flexibly. Information about the stories and the entire model (a center of gravity) is displayed in tables and graphics.
Consideration of Construction Stages
Stay on track of the construction process with the Construction Stages Analysis (CSA) add-on for RFEM 6. In RFEM, this allows you to consider the construction process of structures (member, surface, and solid structures). Avoid potential mistakes when calculating entire models. These may easily arise when disregarding the influence of the construction process. With the helpful add-on, you can analyze the influences and consider them right up to the structural design.
Interfaces for Data Exchange
The structural analysis software provided by Dlubal Software can be integrated seamlessly into the Building Information Modeling (BIM) process. The large number of interfaces allows you to exchange the data of digital building models with RFEM or RSTAB.
Use the web service (a programmable interface) to read or write the data from or to RFEM and RSTAB.
