Considering Precamber on Surfaces

In RFEM, you have the option to consider an imperfection on surfaces. You can do this by means of the "Precamber" surface load.

However, the calculation of the precamber is not carried out with an internal equivalent load as in the case of a member, but a real deformation is applied to the system or the surface. The calculation of the deformation can also be represented by a circular segment model.

The following example is used to calculate the real deflection of the surface.

s = 5,000 mm
k = 0.005 m-1
k =  1s28·h+0.5·h  → h =  15.6 mm40,0641.0 mm
