Create Surfaces from Cells

If you have imported a DXF file in RFEM or you need to add a membrane to an existing member structure, you can use the function "Tools" → "Generate Model - Surfaces" → "Surfaces from Cells", and thus quickly create planar surfaces.

The program automatically detects outlines closed by straight lines and provides the option to supply them with surfaces either individually or by drawing a selection frame.

For surfaces with many corner points, the maximum number of cell nodes should be increased in the detail settings.
