  1. Development of Software Product for Fracture Mechanical Analysis of Structures and Structural Components Using Extended Finite Element Method

    The research findings will be used for the following module:

  3. Bergische University of Wuppertal

    Standardized Example Database for Computational Structural Analysis

    Funding: German Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development

    Researcher: Bergische University of Wuppertal

    Project Period: June 2016 − May 2018

    Concept and development of a standardized example database for software-supported structural calculations for the use of structural analysis software in BIM‑based process chains.

  4. Implementation of Method for Fracture Mechanical Modeling of Timber Structures in Commercial Software X-Wood

    Funding: German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy

    Cooperation: TU Dresden - Institut für Statik und Dynamik der Tragwerke

    Project Period: Completed

    The research findings are used for the following features:

    • Material model Tsai-Wu (extension with strain hardening modulus)
    • Nodal, line and surface release
    • Increasing load with variable load increments until the failure occurs
