The grate scaffolding of the biomass power plant in Berlin-Neukölln, Germany, is a structure with a high temperature load. The engineering office of Jürgen Ehlenz from Beckingen, a long-time Dlubal customer, was responsible for the structural analysis of the grate scaffolding with moving parts, as well as for the construction and design of the piping.

Structure

The steel structure is part of a wood-fired power station furnace.

The grate scaffolding is used to support the rigid and displaceable grate as well as structural components of the combustion furnace with a total mass of approximately 198.4 t.

The scaffolding also includes a moving part of the grate.
