Grate Scaffolding of Long-Distance Power Plant in Berlin-Neukölln, Germany
Ing.-Office Ehlenz, Beckingen
The grate of the Berlin-Neukölln district heating power plant is a structure with high thermal stress.
The long-standing Dlubal customer, engineering office Jürgen Ehlenz from Beckingen, was responsible for the structural analysis of the grating scaffolding with grating wagon as well as for the construction and design of pipe displacements.
The steel structure a part of a wood-fired power station furnice.
The grate scaffolding is used to support the rigid and displaceable grate as well as structural components of the combustion furnace with the total weight of approximately 180 t.
The scaffolding also includes a moving part of the grate.
