René Flori Add-on Modules

In the verification procedure for a classic, rigid faceplate impact, only the moments around the strong axis (y-axis) are considered.

When torques are entered around the weak axis, the resulting tensile forces are not taken into account in the design.

Am I seeing this right?

The evidence in our JOINTS STEEL BENDING module is based on the assumptions and regulations of EN 1993-1-8. Here, the bend from the main wear level is not treated.
With RFEM it is possible to model any rigid joint, where all internal forces can be taken into account.
