Since we purchased RFEM 6, modeling structures from the simplest to the most complex has become an extremely easy task.
In our field, we get great results with our equipment, which helps us create digital models that are as close to reality as possible. The definition of supports, member elements, surfaces, or even solids is very extensive.
We're using fully parameterizable 3 and 4-foot tower section blocks to cut down on modeling time in anticipation of the tower module.
All in all, we're very satisfied with our choice of this new-generation software.
RFEM 6 offers the following advantages:

After a six-month trial, I've decided to switch to Dlubal RFEM because of its superior ability to model structures and their behavior as close to reality as possible, compared to the other models used: effective eccentricities, linear or nonlinear supports and hinges, various member sections, steel connection configurator with a wide range of options, and so on.
Moreover, the interface is user-friendly and intuitive, so it's easy to understand the functions without having to refer to the documentation.
Result filters allow for a quick interpretation of the calculations, while setting up and editing the calculation notes is quick and easy.
A significant advantage is a wide range of resources on the Dlubal website as well as on Youtube.
Last but not least, the sales and technical service are always ready to answer your questions. The main points of the comparison are excellent. I'm thus convinced of my choice.
I would like to thank you for the opportunity to try out RFEM 6. The program is very user-friendly for me, and if I have encountered a problem, it always helped me to watch the tutorial video, study the online manual, or finally contact your online support, where they were happy to assist me. I was very pleased that many parameters are predefined, but can be customized. That's the reason why I consider the program to be very flexible.

The installation of Dlubal programs is very easy and has good support. We are very satisfied with the technical support that answers our questions quickly.

For almost a year I have been trying to develop a type of intervention for the seismic improvement of simple reinforced concrete buildings built in the 60s/70s, with the addition of bracing and dissipative elements.
I tried to design these elements with the RFEM trial version and was thrilled by the simplicity and the calculation's completeness. According to what I have found, it is possible to use RFEM to create very complex structures while maintaining excellent reliability due to a very strict and transparent inner structure.
