Structural Design

The structure is designed as a two-bay asymmetrical hall with the main bay designed as a two-hinged frame on hinged foundation pads. The utility area is hinged and includes a composite cross-section of steel floor beam and reinforced concrete slab.

Loading and Assessment

The load was determined according to Eurocodes and includes snow, wind, overpressure and underpressure, and initial imperfections of columns. The model in the RFEM program was used to calculate the internal forces, which were subsequently assessed manually using the RF-Steel Members module.

This student project is entered in the Dlubal Talent ČVUT 2026 competition.
