Description

This video verifies the centroid example in RFEM. This allows determination of the centroid in 3D.

Afterwards, the statical moment in the Y-direction or Sy is calculated for a symmetrical cross-section. This calculation is often a question used in exams.

This is followed by an introduction to the SHAPE-THIN program. SHAPE-THIN allows quick modeling of the cross-section. Finally, the system is calculated and the cross-section properties are determined. The ordinates are shown, as well as the statical moments in the Y- and Z-directions.
