Description

This video shows how the diagram of the statical moment of area Q y is calculated using SHAPE-THIN. In SHAPE-THIN, cross-sections can be comfortably and quickly created.
In this way, the statical moment of area Q y as well as the corresponding z-t diagram can be determined.
The wrong orientations of the cross-section parts lead to wrong signs.
For this reason, the cross-section parts will be oriented in the direction of the s-coordinates, in this way you get the same results as in the manual calculations.
Then, possible errors that could occur in the program by overlapping cross-section parts will be fixed.
