Is it possible to look at the principal stresses as trajectories or vectors?
Vectorial representation of principal stresses is possible if you display the angle alpha among the stresses in the Results navigator.
Then, the values for sigma-1 and sigma-2 will be represented in the vector form separately for the stress in direction of the principal axes on the positive/negative surface side and the membrane stress in direction of the principal axes.
The scale of the trajectories can be controlled by the factor for trajectories available on the results panel.

Your support is by far the best
“Thank you very much for the useful information.
I would like to pay a compliment to your support team. I am always impressed how quickly and professionally the questions are answered. In the industry of structural analysis, I use several software including service contract, but your support is by far the best.”
