Can I adjust the FE mesh manually in RFEM?
For the given example, I get "rigid" triangles, but quadrangles would be more realistic.
Answer
You can manually align the FE mesh in RFEM by using "auxiliary points".
When generating the mesh, every specified point acts as a constraint point for the FE mesh, allowing you to generate it individually. You also need to select the "Integrate unutilized objects into surfaces".
When specifying the length of the FE elements, you have to consider that the global mesh is not smaller than the distances between the points.
Here, "normal" points are used as auxiliary points.
