Is it possible to detect unfavorable load combinations in RFEM and RSTAB?
Due to calculation designs to be performed (cross-section, stability, serviceability limit state design etc.), it is not possible to determine favourable load situations of a structural component or an entire model in advance.
However, there is an algorithm available for RFEM and RSTAB, which develops all possible load constellations for entered load cases according to a specific standard criterion (superposition of loads in load combinations or superposition of results in result combinations). These constellations include each eventuality resulting from variably acting load cases. Design using this combination package guarantees consideration of the governing combination. You can activate the combinatorics in General Data under "Classification of Load Cases and Combinations".
