How can I define a user-defined allowable crack width in the concrete modules?

Answer

In the RF-CONCRETE and RF-CONCRETE Members add-on modules, it is possible to limit the allowable crack width to a user-defined value for the design according to Eurocode. In RF-CONCRETE Surfaces, you can find the settings in Table 1.3 of the Limit of Crack Width tab. In RF-CONCRETE Surfaces, you can find the settings in Table 1.6 in the Serviceability tab.

As long as the design without direct crack width analysis according to 7.3.3 is active, you can select a user-defined value from 0.2 to 0.4 mm. If you wish to define a limit value outside this area, you have to deactivate the design without direct crack width analysis and you have to perform the design with direct crack width analysis according to 7.3.4.
