FAQ 002436 EN 19 February 2019

Markus Baumgärtel Import / Export & BIM RFEM RSTAB

After an import, not all cross sections are detected in RSTAB / RFEM. How can you solve this problem?

Answer

This problem always occurs if the cross-section designation to be imported does not exist in RSTAB / RFEM. For such cases there is the possibility to create a kind of translation table. This conversion file can be called up via the detail settings of the "Import" function (see Figure 1). The program then converts all registered cross sections during an import so that they are recognized by RSTAB / RFEM.

There is a similarly constructed convergence table also for materials.
