Is it possible to change the factor kc by user-defined settings?

Answer

In the settings for the standard (DIN 18008), the construction coefficient kc can be user-defined.
In Chapter 8.3.6 (DIN18008‑1:2010‑12), this factor is given as 1.0, if no other parts of the standard are to be followed.
Especially in the case of linearly supported glass, Chapter 7.2 (DIN18008‑2: 2010‑12). gives the factor of 1.8 for normal glass and 1.0 for toughened glass.
