Interpolation of Internal Forces and Results Display in RFEM

Which smoothing option is taken into account in the output of internal forces via the COM interface?

Answer:

Smoothing is an interpolation of the existing internal forces. This is explained in the related technical article.

The internal forces as such are displayed in the post-processing. The COM interface always shows all internal forces on each FE node. Use the Results example from SDK (FAQ) to check these settings.

However, it is possible to distinguish between grid points and FE mesh nodes in the results.
