The Torsional Warping (7 DOF) add-on provides you with numerous new possibilities. For example, you can perform the calculation of member structures in RFEM and RSTAB, taking into account the cross-section warping. You can consider the resulting internal forces (N, Vu, Vv, Mt,pri, Mt,sec, Mu, Mv, Mω) in the equivalent stress analysis of the steel design. Please note: This feature is currently not available for the design standards AISC 360‑16 and GB 50017.
Technology takes you further, also in your daily work with RFEM / RSTAB. The new API technology Webservice allows you to create your own desktop or web-based applications by controlling all objects included in RFEM 6 / RSTAB 9. Entire libraries and numerous functions are available to you. Thus, you can easily perform your own design checks, effective modeling of parametric structures, and optimization and automation processes using the programming languages Python and C#. Dlubal Software makes your work easier and more convenient. Check it out now!
WebService and APICompared to the RF-/DYNAM Pro - Equivalent Loads add-on module (RFEM 5 / RSTAB 8), the following new features have been added to the Response Spectrum Analysis add-on for RFEM 6 / RSTAB 9:
- Response spectra of numerous standards (EN 1998, DIN 4149, IBC 2018, and so on)
- User-defined response spectra or those generated from accelerograms
- Direction-relative response spectrum approach
- Results are stored centrally in a load case with underlying levels to ensure clarity
- Accidental torsional actions can be taken into account automatically
- Automatic combinations of seismic loads with the other load cases for use in an accidental design situation
Was your design successful? Then just sit back and relax. You benefit from the numerous functions in RFEM also here. The program gives you the maximum stresses of the masonry surfaces, whereby you can display the results in detail at each FE mesh point.
Moreover, you can insert sections in order to carry out a detailed evaluation of the individual areas. Use the display of the yield areas to estimate the cracks in the masonry.
Dlubal Software customers come from all over the world and there are, of course, numerous language options for the structural analysis software. It is possible to operate the program in the following languages: English, Chinese, Czech, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.
You can also modify the design of the RFEM/RSTAB user interface: There are nine different styles of graphical user interface to choose from; for example: Office 2007 Blue, Silver, Aqua, and Black. Customize the programs to your individual needs.
