The nonlinear implicit Newmark solver is available in RFEM (RSTAB: explicit solver for geometrically linear and large deformation analysis) to consider nonlinearities in the time history analysis.
Among other things, it is possible to calculate nonlinear member types (tension and compression members as well as cables) and member nonlinearities (failure, yielding, and so on). However, support nonlinearities (failure, friction, and so on) or hinge nonlinearities are also taken into account in RFEM and RSTAB.
