In 1936, a water tower holding 211,000 US gallons was built in Kladno-Rozdělov, Czech Republic. The existing and new supporting steel structures were repurposed as the new administrative building of VKM a.s.

The scaffolding structure consists of aluminum trusses with heights varying between 1.64 ft and 3.28 ft as well as horizontal steel beams, columns, railings, and bracings. All elements are based on the PlusEight system.

The goal was to design a spiral staircase with glass steps and railings spanning 2 floors. With sophisticated anchoring details and helical stringers created from subtle rectangular hollow sections, a light and elegant staircase was formed. The interior spiral staircase is located inside the educational, training, and rehabilitation center in the city of Zlín.

In 2019, an extraordinary pavilion was constructed in Diemersteiner Tal near Kaiserslautern, Germany. The structure is constructed entirely from timber and did not require any metal fasteners.

This multi-material tower structure includes mainly timber and steel elements. Only the foundation and attached rigid columns were constructed as reinforced concrete.

The station building is an organic shaped steel structure consisting of three connected parts. The left and right building sections are formed by curved Vierendeel truss beams extruding from the main Vierendeel truss down to the reinforced concrete foundation. These main trusses are supported by a row of columns with additional vertical bracing.

The arched hall includes a 72 ft x 177 ft rectangular floor plan, height of 33 ft and roof radius of 66 ft. The structure houses large offices with additional storage space available.

On the Mediterranean island of Formentera, a new cross-laminated timber building was constructed, which is used by a sailing school and a water sports center. The one-story building consists of two separate sections that are connected by low-lying glued-laminated beams in the roof area.

The LEICHT company was awarded the design phase for the Champagne Bar’s new roof, located at the Goodwood Racecourse. The planning steps included the form-finding process, the membrane and supporting steel structure approval and design, and the membrane and cable cutting patterns.
